Jacinta Hamilton has been practising since 2016 (back when the firm was known as Matthew Verney Lawyers) and has been the principal / director since the end of 2021.
Jacinta understands some of the unique challenges that face the North-West Coast due to living here all her life (apart from a 5 year gap to attend university). Jacinta enjoys being a lawyer and assisting clients navigate the legal system to achieve the best outcome.
Jacinta is a current member of the Family Law Practitioners of Tasmania Committee and has previously been on the board of the North West Community Legal Centre.
In her spare time, Jacinta enjoys being with family and reading a good book.
Callum has been practising since 2018 specialising in litigation. Callum represents clients in both state and federal courts, and tribunals.
Callum is a member of the Council of the Law Society of Tasmania. He is also a former chairperson, and now member, of the North-West Community Legal Centre’s Management Committee.
In his spare time, Callum enjoys playing squash and watching football. Having moved to Tasmania in 2013 from Western Australia, Callum is an unfortunate supporter of the Fremantle Dockers.
Skhay has been recently admitted in the Supreme Court of Tasmania in 2023, after completing her Bachelor of Law/Arts and Graduate Diploma of Legal Practice at the University of Tasmania. During her studies, Skhay was part of the Student Legal Service and COMET (Community Engagement Tasmania Society). Skhay is happy to be back on the North-West Coast and is looking forward to assist clients in forwarding their legal issues and achieving the best result for them.
Outside of work, she enjoys spending quality time with her family and two fur babies.
